I got an iphone !!!!

ok I have to say that I was one of those people that did not see what was so great about the iphone. I thought yeah it looks cool but I do not want to spend that kind of money on a phone.

WELL .... We have been with alltel for about 5 years now and well they were great at first but then we moved and well where we live we have NO service. We got sick of never having any service any where and still paying $200 a month, FOR WHAT ????

Finally my husband got sick of it and went the other day and switched over to at&t. He called me and told me what he was doing and said ok well just get me any kind of phone it is not really a big deal. I do not want to spend a lot of money. Well he came back with a new iphone for me and him and well I have to say that I LOVE IT !!!!! I have no idea why I did not get one of these things along time ago. It is so useful and convenient.

I am one of those crazy people that has a purse full of EVERYTHING. I always have my phone, a camera, a planner, my ipod, and a thousand more things. Needless to say my purse weighs 20 pounds. But now I can do all of that on this one little thing !!!! yes as you can tell I am very happy with my new phone ....... I have such a great husband, lol !!!!

Does anyone really get 8 hours of sleep a night ???

I can not stand it when I am all nice and sleepy and then I go lay down and I am wide awake !!!! As much as I would love to be one of those people that can sleep 8 hours (as it is recommended by doctors) I am just not!!!!!!! I am doing good to get a soiled 4 hours of sleep. I usually wake up about 6 times a night ... why ? if anything makes a noise I am up ! I am a light sleeper were as my husband is not a light sleeper, he would not hear it if a train came through the house. As long as you do not take his covers off and turn on the light then he will sleep through anything else ..... MAN, that must be nice !!!!!!!!!!! For me to sleep like that I have to be heavily medicated.

Coconut Oil

While I was looking at this site a while back I saw this http://www.uniquelyplaced.com/2009/04/coconut-oil-my-new-beauty-love.html ..... at first I was very nervous about trying this but thought " what is there to lose, if I do not like it then I really have not wasted anything. " Well I have been using coconut oil for a little over a month now and I LOVE it. I have really dry skin and it works wonders for me ! And I also use it on my face .... and no it does not break me out or feel oily, it has actually cleared my face up. I do not like wearing foundation because it feels so heavy and like I have tons of makeup on. I like to just use a little bit of power but with dry skin some times just using power it would make my skin even more dry. well now I use the coconut oil and then brush a little power on and it looks great. no more dry flaky patches !!! This is great for people who have REALLY dry skin !!!!

St. Louis

I had a great time in St. Louis. The drive up there how ever is a different story. It rained almost the whole drive and I am not talking about just a little here and there I am talking about I can not see the car in front of me... it was not fun. But the closer we got to st. Louis the rain went away and the sun come out to play :-) !!!!

The Arch was huge !!!!

we went to the top of the arch and it was an interesting ride to the top. We had to sit in these little pod looking things and at that point was very happy that I am not a very tall person. If you were taller then I would say 5'6 then you had to bend over the whole 4 minute ride up there. 4 minutes is not bad but there are 5 to a pod so it could get a little uncomfortable but we were very lucky and everyone in our little pod was very nice.



The next day we walked around St. Louis some and then we went to the Anthony Rapp book signing. I did not even know that he had a book out and was not going to buy it but then he starting talking about what it was about and well it sounded really good to me so I had to buy a copy. I have not started reading it yet but will let everyone know what I think about it when I finish it.He was a really funny down to earth guy. I was not a huge fan before but after meeting him I would say that I am huge fan of his now.


RENT was great both nights. I got to meet some of the cast the first night but the second night some little girl passed out when Anothy came out so no one else came out that night. But that is ok. I am not really big on having to get their autographs I went to watch the show that is what I did. The last day before coming home we ate at St.Louis bread company, then went to Borders books and then whole foods. I wish El Dorado had atleast one of these things. All would be wonderful but I would take just one. It is so sad how far you have to drive to get to stores like this :-( ....... but any way we had a great time in St. Louis !!!

Day off and Dixie !!

Me and tony finally had day off together :-) so we took dixie to the river, since we finally got the boat back. I did not take many pictures and they are not that great, because wet dog, nice camera..... ummmm yeah I did not want to take too many chances.



I just love her eyes here !!! she can not hardly wait for you to throw it, LOL !!!

Halloween

Well I hope that every one had a great Halloween ? We did not do much on this end. I dressed up for work and that was about it. we both were not feeling real great and we both had to work the next day so it was really just another night for us.

We did dress up for work. YES, we are the village people ! I know it is silly but isn't that what Halloween is all about.



Then we had a pumpkin carving contest. These are not the best pictures because I waited to long to take them.. my pumpkin was already soft :-( ... YUCK !!!!
But it gives you an idea of what it kind of looked like.

well I will try to post more about changes, updates, and so on later this week right now I am off to eat some deer meat !

Memphis

So I went to Memphis with a friend a few weeks ago to see Avenue Q. The play was a lot of fun but I do not EVER see my self moving to Memphis. It was good to see it but just not really my kind of place. We only got to check out downtown so I will go back to check out mid town and see what I think about that but so far I am not impressed. But here are a few pictures from Memphis.

Baby Shower

Ok so I threw a baby shower for my cousin the other weekend and it went really well. I did not get to really take any photos because I was too busy but here are a few that I thought that I would share.

Thankful

MY BROTHER IS HOME !!!! well he is in Fort Bragg, NC :-( but at least he is in the states and I hope that I get to see him soon. I am very thankful because I had my husband and my brother go over seas and they both came back just fine !!!!!!!!!!!

?? Life ??

So if everything is already written out then why it is so hard to decide what you want out of life ? I have been in a real funk lately and been thinking A LOT about what I want to do with life and guess what I HAVE NO IDEA !!! All I know is that when I am looking back at my life I do not want to look back and my story be... she was born in El Dorado, She was raised in El Dorado and she died in El Dorado, oh yeah and maybe once a year she got to go to Hot Springs or Shreveport. I want more ! Any time I say some thing about how I am feeling everyone always thinks I am talking about My husband and that is not the case. He is the only happiness that I have in my life and the one thing that I would not change for anything. I love him very much and can not imagine my life with out him. We have been together for almost eight years and we still give each other goose bumps. He is not prefect but neither am I and I like it that way. He understand me for the most part and even when he doesn't he still loves me. I just can not help but wonder about life and about what I am supposed to do with life. I guess I am just bored with life right now and need to make some decisions about where to go and what to do next but I am probably one of the most indecisive people that you will ever meet. Does anyone else feel the same ?

Little Rock Zoo

Me and my brother went to the Little Rock zoo on sunday. I had never been and it had been a long time since he had. We had a lot of fun but OMG it was soooo hot. If you notice the last picture it is a mist system, they had them every where around the zoo because of the heat. Well here are just a few pictures of that day. I want to go again but it will have to be after it cools down some :-)
