I am finally feeling better !!!! It is about time !!!!!!!!!
I am very lucky that I have people in my life that understood the fact that I had to basically shut my life down for a week. My hat goes off to the people that have that mess and still function. I felt like I was dying the first two days. EVERYTHING HURT !!!!!!
Thank you to everyone that called, sent me messages, emails, and all the prayers. I really appreciate it !!
Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Philippians 4:6

New Addition !!
With me being sick with the flu and everything that is going on with my family my husband has been trying to be the one that keeps me together, and he is doing a great job. He wanted to surprise me with a new addition but with me getting sick it kind of ruined his plans, but I still got the new addition and I love him. Meet MILO !!!

Valentines
Hope that everyone had a wonderful valentines day !! We do not normally do anything for valentines day because it just seems so commercial but this year we decided to go out of town. We went to Shreveport wed night. There was some miss communication in who was getting the hotel so we get down there and we did not have a room. This is really not that big of a deal but I hate going from hotel to hotel trying to find something. Well we did not have to. We called Harrah's casino but they were booked up but the lady on the phone was nice enough to transfer us over to boomtown casino because she knew that they had some rooms left. We got there and it was really nice and a really good price. We got a room with a king size bed and a hot tub in it for less then we have ever paid at a days inn or anything else. Well after we got all checked in we decided to go over to the casino part to see what it was like since I have never been ! It was alot of fun. But I am not one that could ever get hooked on it. We said that we were going to spend twenty dollars and even the idea of loosing that killed my soul but oh well. Well Tony got ten and I got ten, well Tony spent his ten and I was on my last two dollars and I won 40...and I was done for the night, LOL !! I got my forty and went back to the hotel room.
Mailbox
Do you remember building valentines mail boxes for school ?? Well they are trying several new things at work for moral and motivation and well they want us to get in the spirit so they had a mail box decoration contest. And believe it or not I won, LOL !! I know that it is silly but at the same time it is kind of fun. So leave me a comment and let me know why you think about my mailbox.
It's here !!!

Finally
I am sooo excited. I finally got to talk to my brother. He has been trying to call me for over a week and we kept missing each other and finally I got to talk with him for over an hour. When I was young I never thought that me and my brother would be close but the older we get the closer we get. So needless to say I miss him like crazy !!!!!!

I read this message on my brothers facebook and I am happy that there are so many out there that are still thinking about our soldiers. If there is anyone out there interested in sending a soldier some thing then go to www.anysoldier.com. As you can read they love getting all kinds of different things !!
God answers prayers. So, a few weeks ago I was really down b/c of the lack of morale in my unit. Things seemed to stress me out a lot easier and I was worried because I hadn't heard from people back home in a while. I kept trying to come up with something to make everything a little easier on everyone, but honestly I came home exhausted most days with nothing to show for my work. Then, one day I decided I would take a chance and sign everyone up on AnySoldier.com to see if we'd get any kind of response. What I didn't anticipate was that we would have a total flood of letters and packages over the past couple of days. People, young and old...couples and single moms...veterans and school children...these people sent letters from all over the country; PA, NC, NY, CA, MD, NJ, TX, and even AR. This was such an answer to prayers...just to know people back home care so much that they wouldn't mind taking a a little time out of their day to write to complete strangers. Most people just wanted us to know that they were praying for us and almost everyone told us how proud they really were of people who served overseas because they volunteered. A 10 year old boy that's never even met a single one of us wrote that he wanted to grow up to be a solider just like us. Doesn't that just break your heart? Grandmothers asked what kind of cookies we liked, couples sent pictures from their most recent vacations and everyone was super excited when we got boxes and boxes of junk food to make us fat. It was just so great to see that life still continues outside of the little bubble that is my trailer in Baghdad. No matter what I've been going through recently, whether personally or work related...God always provides. Today I was reminded of how often I doubt and lack faith when things are difficult...and once again, God presented me with a moment of humility. I just thought that was cool and I wanted to share it with you guys! Hopefully things are going well with everyone back home and thank you so much for all of your support!

Date night !!
Well last night me and tony got to go out on a date. We went to Mels ( Thanks Erika ) to eat and well we eat together several times a week there is just some thing about getting dressed up and having your husband take you out to dinner, open all the doors for you that just makes it kind of special. We do not get to see each other very much because of our crazy hours that we work and usually when we do see each other it is for maybe an hour here and there and we are usually talking about grown up stuff .... ( Bills, work...., yucky stuff like that). Anyway it was nice to have a date night and just have fun together !! WE NEED MORE OF THEM .. I am sure that most married people say the same thing.
Playing
Ok so I am off today and I need to be painting the bathroom, doing some laundry, and all around CLEANING. And well I find my self not doing a darn thing but playing on the internet. Darn that internet, it is not helping with my procrastination problem at all :-) ..
